The international committees don't believe it either.
It is completely unlikely that anyone will reinstitute 13 or 20 wpm
testing.
It is likely that 5 wpm testing will go by the wayside.
(let's be honest, how much fun is 5 wpm Morse anyway?)
It is similarly unlikely that the FCC will make on-off keying on the ham
bands illegal (like MARS did - I still don't get that one).
It's just a shame that a valuable and very, very basic mode that can be
used by everyone no longer is being considered as such.
