hi guys:
that was me when i was 14 yrs old. i had a J 46 hand key and i sent all
the time from the ameco theory book. in 62 i had to do both send and rec to
pass my general test. i had trouble putting down on paper what i was
hearing. the trouble was being able to copy behind and not thinking about
what i was doing. when i was looking at a book and sending it just came
without thinking for some reason. i have used a viberkeyer for years now
and put the old standard bug up 20 yrs ago. the hand key longer. i have
gotten the bug back out and it is a slow hard deal getting the hang of it
again at 56 yrs of age. but i will do it. i still have the hand key and i
have a hand key that was given to me by VP8LP when i was in the
Falklands it was used in the LU sig base overlooking Port Stanley and was
taken prisoner by the RM's when they overran the base retaking Stanley.
guess ill get it out and put it back on the air..yes you can send faster
then you can receiver just like typing i just think about what i want to
say and it come second nature as i learned how to type in high school. man
i could burn them up if i used a keyboard to send cw hi... how about that
Tony ? good way to break that 25 wpm hump hi..
