I have found this thread to be quite interesting and enlightening but I
still think it boils down to a few simple statements and/or questions.

1. Do you want to learn CW?
2. If yes, then you can!
3. If yes, you must practice. Here is where a problem comes into play.
Today there are SO many ways touted to be "the way to learn code".
Unfortunately I don't have the answer to how one goes about sorting thru the
"smoke". I can tell you how I learned code, but then that might not help
you at all.
4. Practice will get you perfection.
5. Perfection will get you confidence.
6. Confidence will get you speed and proficiency.
7. Speed and proficiency will get you more speed and more proficiency.
8. Soon, CW will become second nature to you...never giving a thought about
what you are doing. And before you know it, you will be doing 35, 40, 45,
and 50+ WPM.....guaranteed or your money back.

While on the subject of speed, I've seen a couple of references to something
like "I could send 30 WPM but only copy 20 WPM.....huhhhhhh? Helllllo, is
this thing working?
