Well, it seems that this 35 w.p.m. straight key record was broken at =
least twice since it was registered:  first,  by an egyptian civilian =
operator in the Suez Canal during a maritime operation that took place =
many decades ago and, more recently,  by a colleague here in the =
Homeland who attains that feat "usually", and happens to be a subscriber =
to this reflector.  It's quite clear that an update of that "Guiness =
book of World Records for hand keying" is long overdue...  =3D:-)
