The ability to copy with a pen is valuable and should not be dismissed.
Like all other abilities is it a skill that you must learn.
Get some ball point pens, I prefer the new GEL inks, use smooth paper,
I prefer college ruled 8 1/2 X 11" in 1" thick packs. (300 sheets)
Redevelop your script writing skill, no one should loose it.
Once you can copy W1AW at 20 WPM start learning (or improve)
"head copy" by listening to CW when you can't write, such as
when you drive, start with 5 WPM, also listen to higher and
catch characters first then words that you know, stick with the
5 until you can copy faster solid. Just one man's opinion.
> I have always found that a limiting factor for me in copying CW is my
> inability to write fast enough.
> One BIG issue is that, a number of year ago, I took a engineering
> drawing class and got into the habit of printing everything..
> Could it be that I will just have to accept the fact that 10 WPM or so
> is my limit???
> Any thoughts would be appreciated.
