[CW] AR/BK/SK etc - 2 cents

AR:  Ok.. well, might as well join the comments.  "My" understanding of AR
was that it meant end of transmission and was used when replying to a person
that had just called CQ - meaning not go ahead, but this is the end of my
call to you.  Of course there was a meaning in traffic handling as well

SK:  I "thought" was to mean end of work and was to be send prior to the
calls of the last transmittion.  Why do I now hear that after the calls?

BK:  Egads...Why is that sent before and after a comment?  Why is such that
BK antenna is 3 element rotary at 80 feet BK acceptable?  What ever happened
to QSK? near the beginning of a QSO and then a simple thing such as
"antenna?" being send?  Why not make things more conversational than less.
A simple "rig?" will work fine.

KA - I rarely hear that one anymore.  It used to be used after an "AS" etc.
to mean attention or here it comes.

Gee, I wonder what the ARRL Operating Manual says today. 10-4?
