Subject: [CW] ARRL's stance on WRC-03 and how it relates to Morse.
Just to keep you all updated.
I sent out an email on August 9 to all League Directors, Vice-Directors,
League officers, including our president an e-mail regarding my concern
about the League's position on the Morse Code requirement since the
happenings at WRC-03. Briefly, I suggested that the League take a physical
poll of the membership to help finalize it's final policy stance on the
Morse Code requirement. After all, they insist they represent us, right?
As of today, only Bernie Fuller, Director of the Atlantic Division and Steve
Mendelsohn, Vice Director of the Hudson Division thought my e-mail deserved
a reply. Only 2 out of 36, or 5.5% responded. Speaks volumes to me!
