A very interesting book is Ade Weiss (W0RSP) "History of QRP." It is not
biased "pro-ARRL," but describes how the ARRL went from being at first an
organization that encouraged efficiency, clean operating, minimum power,
etc., to one that was more interested in commercialism. No, the book is
NOT ARRL-bashing. The facts, and ARRLs own words will bring anyone to the
conclusion that the ARRL became primarily a business dedicated to the
furtherance of the ARRL after WWII.
