[CW] Iambic paddle question

Recommendations?

I like the Iambic Vibroplex very much.

I have a N2DAN Mercury, and a W9WBL V22 dual paddle as well.

My overall favorite is the WBL paddle as it is light and responsive. I also
can send the fastest with it.

My wife has a Bencher (standard) and this is a fairly good key but it
doesn't have the response of either the HEAVY response of the Mercury (or
Hensley, etc.) or the WBL (light).

I understand that the March paddles are extremely well made and responsive.

If I were going to buy a pair of paddles, I would investigate the Vibroplex
Iambic, Nye Viking Squeeze key, the ZPY high speed paddle and the March
paddles.

This is in ascending price range, and I think you get what you pay for.

Of the above keys are all well made, but of different temperment. The
better keys respond in a well mannered way.

If you are sending 22 wpm with this key, you will not be disappointed, but
if CW is something you want to do for 40 years, I would certainly buy the
finest key you can.

I have never regretted buying a high quality key - it is important to have a
key which will make contact when you wish, and NOT make a false contact.
