I dont think anything matters anymore. I have never been so pessimistic in
ham radio as i now am. Twice i sent my comments to our prez Jim Haynie and
on both occasions he would not tell me what HIS personal stance was and
further directed me to send the commnets to my Section Director which i did.
The only reply he gave me was to thank me for my comments and didnt tell me
his position on the matter.

If this is the type of representation we as members are to have then what
good is the ARRL. My feelings are they are more concerned with the $193,000
they raised so far for opposition to the BPL. I feel if they do away with
code, next will be the testing, and when that happens who cares if BPL wins
their case. Ham Radio will not have the prestige it once had. I am glad i am
in my 50's. I wont be around much longer to see the deterioration of this
hobby.
