Hello dear friends:
During the last week end I collected an HD1410 from Santa Fe province. I drive 460 km north of my QTH to visit Gaby LU5FZ. who was the last owner. Gaby cooked 4 big fishes in the grill that we cant eat all.
This keyer was owned by an USA phone (?) operator who was long time ago in Santa Fe province working for the Mormons church but he never used this keyer. It is in a very good shape. Original paint and color. Need some clean and it is running very well. It seems to me that I was the first to open this box to have a look inside parts and key contacts.
For the return trip I spend us$ 100, fuel, toll, food, etc. 3 star plus hotel cost me us$ 25 for one nigth The Keyer cost me less than us $ 80. It seems to be a very expensive keyer...HI ...HI.
The roads where 100% good and very safe for 130 km speed limit (and plus) except about 20 km near Rosario city where the road is not very good with some small holes and it is ok for 80/100 km. All roads with toll are 100% OK.
Marite (XYL) was traveling with me and we visited several cities and old churches. Some of those are very nice, the one in Santa Fe city was build in 1680, good panorama and Pampa views, good fish and meal with friendly country side people. In the way back home Marite collected some very nice Rose plant from a LU5ER Horacio garden shop.
Now I have my HQ180A/X and this HD1410. and I am trying to find some Viking Ranger TX to complete my dreamed old station.
Thanks to all for previous pictures and information help.
Muchos saludos
Best regards
