NOTICE OF UPDATED FILE - ALSO NEW ZIP FILE because of problems downloading.

Dear Men and Women of the Telegraph Key,

I have just placed on my web site a REVISED True Type (Windows) font for a
Telegrapher's MILL which I made by scanning my ROYAL (USA) Typewriter with a
Telegrapher's keyboard - slashed zero and so forth! In the revision, I saw
that there were several characters that I thought you guys would want - like
@ and " and '. The @ was an interesting challange.

You are welcome to non-commercial use of this font.

Some some people had corrupted downloads - THIS IS BECAUSE YOUR COMPUTER
DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH A TTF FILE and the browser (some browsers
handled it ok, but some didn't) downloaded the font file as an ASCII file
transfer and NOT a binary transfer, which corrupts the file! Dumb
computers! We'd have NO problems on CW would we?!!?

I have provided a zip file now... Your browser should recognize this as a
data file and not an ascii file (like TXT or html file).

Also, I have uploaded the ttf (true-type font) file to qsl.net's FTP server,
and you can download it here:

ftp://ftp.qsl.net/pub/n1ea/MILL.ttf

If you don't have ZIP program (Windows XP has it already) use the ftp file.

If you are typing this in rather than clicking the links or using copy and
paste - be sure to notice that I have used CAPS in the name of the file!

Save the file to the desktop (and if you're using the ZIP file, both save
the file there, and then unzip it to the Desktop), then go to CONTROL PANEL
and find FONTS and use the applet (small application) to install the font.
That vintage feeling made easy!

(The Control Panel has a little program that installs fonts! This is what I
mean by applet!)

Good Luck!
