Hi Guys....Although there is a cure for correcting it...The best for all
concerned is to just take out the electronics and put a switch in it........

I had a similar event about 12 years ago...First off .. back then those 
Touch Lamps" were illegal in New Zealand because of the Grounding problem
with them....But many people used to bring them back from vacation to
Australia because they were 1) something different 2) cheap in price..Hi

Well one early morning while I was in the shack (seperate shack fm house) I
heard a noise outside and went out to investigate...well it was my nieghbor
poking around near the fence line...after all the normal hello's etc etc..he
says to me "Notice anything strange with your lights in the house" I said 
No"..Whats up?...Well he goes on to say his bedroom lights (two of them) are
going on and off from off ..low medium and high and has nearly scared and
driven his wife half mad! so he came outside to check if there was a problem
around here...In the end he told me about the type of light and then we put
one and one together and yep it was me on 40cw entertaining his wife with a
light show...Hi

Well in the end (myself being a Electrician by trade) told him...that the
lights are not legal here and why...Of course he didnt want to be nice about
(he was one of those neighbors from Hell you hear about)....So after being
told to stop using the radio or else....I figured only one call is needed
and that was to the local Radio Inspector...who said the same thing about
the light....and said keep on transmitting..if he complains to us we will
deal with him...Hi

After 3 weeks of this nonsense he gave in (I think his wife had enough) and
got the lights replaced with a switch......

The TVI incident with him is another story...........Hi
