The Pixie is fun, but because every part has multiple jobs, I'm not so sure
I'd call it easier to modify.  Still, there are about a zillion things you
CAN modify, and lots of information on the net how to do it.  The RockMite
is a little young yet to have collected that much data.

Also, if this is your first kit, don't get frustrated.  The Pixie can be
prone to motorboating.  If you get that effect when you first turn it on,
look for places where maybe you left leads a little longer than they need to
be, and try shoving some of the parts a little farther apart.

Also don't get frustrated trying to make that first contact with the thing.
CW contacts with 300 mw aren't much of a problem, but 300 mw contacts
ROCKBOUND are a bear.  But a little patient fishing and you'll get 'em.
