[CW] email dumb thing by yours truly

Hi folks... if you sent me an email after about 4PM EST today, pls resend. 
I had a SPAM with a subject of "<>" and I've gotten pretty wild with the 
filtering (in EUDORA) lately. I send to the trash file many ISPs from SPAM, 
as well as any sexual subjects; or guys wanting to sell me a new house 
loan, stock, the several million dollars I have waiting for me in Nigeria, 
etc. etc. ad nauseum. Several weeks ago I had the same thing happen when I 
accidentally set the filter to DEL any blank line-an act which results in 
it deleting everything. Tonight I set that "<>" and wham... no emails. 
EUDORA's filter normally does a VERY good job-if I can just manage to 
refrain from senior moments when dealing with SPAM.

My apologies for the BW to mention this-and hopefully I will be a little 
quicker to realize I've managed to pull one-IF it ever happens again.

P.S. Somehow, the deleted messages were NOT in the TRASH bin. I habitually 
hit my "Empty Trash" icon, so that's probably where they went.
