As a right hander who can key ( Iambic keyer ) with either hand the first
thing
you have to do to facilitate the whole process is to switch the dits and
the dahs when
you go from Left to right or right to left .
This has all to do with left side / right side brain patterns and there is
no mental learning curve
the only issue at play then is improving the dexterity of the fingers on the
new hand.
Fun and games hi! before computers it was a great benefit with paper logs
and pencil.
Something for each hand to do. For the Iambic keyers Unit then you can set
up a double peddle footswitch
for two sets of messages. All derived from old contest techniques but pretty
useless in today's
computerized contest world.
BTW I still send with my left hand even if it is not a contest hi!
