[CW] Rejected posts...

I have allowed several posts to be rejected today. When I see rejected
posts from folks who obviously believe they belong on [CW]... all I can do
is either email them privately to see what's going on... or "approve" the
posting (which cures nothing)... or "reject" the posting... which is
designed to let you know there's something wrong with your mailing.

I suspect the usual cause is due to postings from work-but can't really say
w/o delving into each one. It can also be the result of "MAILMAN"
automatically deleting a membership after some number of bounces to the
listed address. This can occur-I think-if your ISP has its mail server down
for long enough to have the minimum number of bounces.

When there are multiple rejects, or if-on that day-I just don't have the
time to fool with it, I have to reject the posting. Don't take it
personally... try and find out why. Meanwhile, if everything else appears
'normal' to you... your 1st effort should be to resubscribe.

I'll be happy to work with you to solve a problem.
