[CW] How do I get high-frequency cutoff from stereo headphones?

How about a good band pass filter between your rig and the
headphones. I've been using one for years. In fact I use two, one for
CW and one for phone. Mine are passive and use 88mh telephone loading
coil toroids. Nice steep skirts on the low and high end.
The design was in QST in the 70s and appeared in the ARRL handbook in
the mid to late 70s. The title of the article was "Crud-O-Ject" as it
rejected all the crud, unneeded highs and lows. Very easy to build.
There have been plenty of articles on bandpass filters over the years in
the various ham rags, both passive and active.
