I just found one of these in a box of scrapped radio junk someone gave to
me instead of tossing out. I built a power supply for it after making some
minor repairs and it appars to work ok. It effectively suppresses the
filter blow-by in my 75A4, reduces background hiss with the narrow filter,
and even makes my Kenwood R-1000 reasonalbly satisfactory for copying cw. I
think it will be a useful addition to my shack. One drawback is that the
pure sinewave tone that comes out of the filter causes listener fatigue
after a while, even though it helps pull weak signals out of the noise.

Just wondering if anyone here has had any experience using this unit, Would
also like to know the input and output impedances. I have experimentally
determined that it has a high-Z input and a low-Z output with enough power
to drive a small speaker. I would like to have a copy of the manual and
schematic if anyone has one along with access to a xerox machine.

73,
Don K4KYV
