Adjustments are incomplete, coarse, and can't be done "on the fly".
Mechanical construction is flimsy, both in design and execution. Looks like
they just got carried away with "cleverness" and fogot about durability. The
"bent metal" paddle arms fall out of adjustment quickly, the nylon pivots wear,
and the units require frequent re-adjustment during heavy use.

Craftsmanship and durability. Well thought out fine-thread adjustments which
can be changed on the fly, but hold to setting forever. Oversized plated
contacts, ball-bearing pivots, no bent-sheet metal parts, solid machined brass
parts throughout.

The $110.00 Bencher is fine for the casual operator, and you can always find a
spare at a hamfest for parts, but if someone is looking to upgrade to a
"serious" set of paddles, for just $40.00 more you can have a pro-grade unit in
the Kent. (I won't even comment on the $300.00 gold plated Bencher!)
