You could also turn these puff cw signals, via computer, into letters/words 
on a screen, for those persons who have no voice with which to communicate.  
A 9 year old girl in Washington State was being set up with that system a few 
years back.  My brother in laws wife was working with her, and I recommended 
a couple of ways to teach her cw.  I dont know what the final outcome of this 
was, because my brother in law was relocated to another parish and of course 
his wife quit her job at that hospital.  They probably know, but no one told 
me.  I sicked them onto handi-ham also, for more localized and personal help.
