I had my first DX CW QSO last weekend with Carmen, 6J2CD, QTH Mexicali.
It was a difficult QSO, not because of QRQ, QRM, QRN, or QSB, but
because of a little case of, ahem, QLF. I kept copying "Nag Nag Carmen
Carmen," and things like 'QT5' and '5S 5S,' until I realized Carmen was
using a bug and running characters together. So therefore I am still a
bit unsure of the call, although the 6J prefix seems to apply to that
part of Mexico. I can't find Carmen in QRZ.com, so are there other call
servers that might have a better listing of Mexican amateurs?
