Andrew,
I have seen the Dr DX advertised on the used equipment boards
from time to time. You might put out a "WANT AD" on a few
of the boards. I would bet you would find one rather quickly.
Years ago I had an opportunity to play with the Dr DX, when it first
came out...don't remember a lot about it but I do recall I was amazed at
what one could do with it. As I recall, you could select a location
from which you would operate and the band conditions on the Dr DX would
simulate conditions at that given location and time of day. Stations
calling you would often have "chrips" and frequently be a bit "off
freq"...really sophisticated for it's time, or so I thought.
Good luck in finding one....it would be good to have when conditions are
poor like lately, hi.

Any body on the list got an idea where I can find one? I have tried the Time Wave folks who took over AEA, but no luck. Thanks and have a great day! Andrew VE1EX [email protected]
