I see three, possibly more scenarios that could have lead to this fellow's
unsubscribing form the list.

First, he truly did stumble in here by mistake, thinking that he had
subscribed to the "N0-Code" reflector instead.

Second, he really was a Troll, and finding us a little hard to get riled up,
quickly tired of his game.

Third, He's either got a really thin skin, or someone Emailed him a picture
of the Wouff Houng off-list...

I don't really consider his "ideas" unwelcome, just of the Dead Horse
calibre. What new, un-beat-to-death argument could he have possibly put
forward in favour of eliminating Morse? We've heard it all before...

The gentleman with the opinion about code elimination has unsubscribed from
the reflector. While I did not share his opinion, I hope no one-including
him-got the idea that his ideas were completely unwelcome. I think they
were poorly phrased, and probably not really a good idea for this
reflector, but I would like to think you all may express any idea you like,
as long as it is relatively ON-Topic, and not a flame.

I hope you realize-in that case-you will be taken-to-task for an unpopular
idea-even if it ** IS ** ON-Topic. Furthermore, I hope that those
disagreeing with an idea will keep within the restraints required for a
reasonable disagreement amongst friends. I believe that, in this case, that
was true. Certainly, strongly disagreeing with an idea is not, within
itself, a flame.

I also hope you all realize that if I make a remark on here, it is normally
as the ham-and-CW-op, not as "List Manager". Comments by me, as "List
Manager" (to an individual) will always be made OFF-List.
