  Actaully there ARE some people who cannot learn the code.  The number is
very small.  As I recall about 1 in 700.  These people do not have the ability
to distinquish between a short sound and a long sound.  A dit or a dah is
the same length to them.  I taught code classes several years and I actually
ran accross one of these people.  On talking to this person, I found they had also flunked piano lessons twice for the same reason,... they could not tell the differnece between a half note and a quarter note.
