I have no idea what you fellows are talking about.
I send 41 to 43 WPM ( depending on my caffine level) with a Bencher (dual
paddle, iambic) and a K3 Logikey keyer. I never have even THOUGHT about
making three motions for this and four motions for that, and on top of that,
discrete motions. (what ever those are). I have thought about a keyboard,
but I can't type over 30 WPM and hate buffers. Also, in 44 years of sending
CW, I've never had the opportunity to try a single lever paddle. That may be
why I never think about the dual paddle motion situation.
I just let it flow, and worry about other things, like spelling and why
can't I seem to break that 43 WPM BRICK WALL. There are not many guys left
that run over 40 on 40 and like to rag chew. W8LAT, K3TF, W8LX and the
gentlemen, including K4WJ, on 7.020 in the morning are some of the few.
