Joe es all,
A few more thoughts from another cw ham.
This is BS!
If any mode were to be eliminated from the hf bands by the FCC it would
surely be AM and it's WIDEer brother HF-AM. I have nothing against the AM
guys, but I don't get it. I also don't understand why anyone gets all excited
about modes that REQUIRE a computer to send and/or receive. Different
strokes.
K.I.S.S. ----- CW, as simple and efficient as it gets. That's for me.
Then again: I also prefer Piper Cubs over airliners and Lear Jets. Sails over
big gas guzzling boats, and my motorcycle over a limo. But that's just me
(and more than a few others). Simple/basic works! Less stuff to break down
when you really need it.
I truly believe (and reallllllly hope) that CW is here to stay. Surely the
gov't guys aren't that far gone - yet.

73 & Keep On Dit'n,
Don - K4BEV
