What is a #22 pencil?  I never heard of such a thing.  Normal pencils are 
#2.  #1 is extra soft lead, and #3 is hard lead.   The highest I have ever 
seen  was a #6 sold in artist supply stores, but they are so hard that they 
don't make much of a mark.
