[CVRC] NV qso party May 8 - 9, 2004

Hi to all,

     With just a few days to go now I just wanted to send out a final email 
to remind you all of the NV QSO PARTY this coming weekend.  Ya that's right 
this coming weekend - Mothers Day weekend.  But it will be over in plenty 
of time to spend all day Sunday with her and family. So maybe things will 
work out after all as far as that goes.  The event will start up at 00:00 
on Saturday the 8th or late Friday afternoon at 5:00 pm local time then run 
thru till 06:00 on Sunday the 9th - that's 11:00 pm Saturday night.  So see 
home for Mothers days.  Might just be the first contest not to conflict

need to come out and play radio.

     I hope to get some folks up in the Reno / Carson area to show up as 
for now we have most of the hard to find counties represented with at least 
one operator or rover,  but we need more to make this fun for those who are 
looking for NV to finish up WAS awards or county hunters.  In the past the 
DX stations have been a lot of fun early on Saturday mornings and during 
the evenings both nights.  Also who knows you might find a new one or two 
while giving out that rare county to some dx station. Find out how it feels 
to be on the other side of a pile up once in awhile as you just might
