147.150 / 147.210 Repeater System

After a 45 minute hike in the snow to Peavine Peak
where 147.210 is located, Pat N7LPT and Tony KB7PDE
made a successful trip to relink the 147.210 and the
147.150 systems.

The first signs of trouble was noticed a few months
ago on the 147.210 system. The link to the Mt Rose,
147.150 system was intermittent. It is suspect that
the PA (Power Amp) section of the radio was not
operating properly. This could have caused the short
outages between the links.

The second sign of trouble occurred about a week ago
when the link radio on Mt Rose went completely down.
This brought the total link down.

After performing some transplant surgery on the Link
Radio at the Peavine Site, the link was restored!
