[CVRC] Week-Day Evening VE Session

There will be an ARRL-affiliated Volunteer Examination session this Friday
evening, April 9th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Carson Valley.

The session will be at the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center at the
Minden/Tahoe airport between Minden and Carson City.  The Sierra Front
complex is at the end of Firebrand Road, off Heybourne Road midway between
Johnson Lane and Airport Road.  A map can be found at

All amateur examination elements will be offered.  The examination fee will
be $12.  Examinees should bring one picture ID or two non-picture IDs.  The
original and a copy of any current licenses or CSCEs should also be brought.

For those who cannot make morning or weekend VE sessions, this is a good
opportunity to get your license or upgrade.  The examinations are sponsored
by the Carson Valley Radio Club (http://www.cvrc.net).  For additional
