[CVRC] Announcement -- New ASM

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Giraudo N7JEH of Elko, 
Nevada, as Assistant Section Manager (ASM) for the Nevada Section.  A

Joe currently holds Net Manager, Emergency Coordinator and Public 
Information Officer section field appointments.  He has previously served 
as Section Emergency Coordinator for many years and was recently nominated 
for the prestigious ARRL Excellence in Recruiting Award.  Joe is an ARRL 
Volunteer Examiner, Red Cross trainer and mainstay of the Elko Amateur 
Radio Club.

Joe's primary responsibilities will be two-fold:  In addition to 
representing the ARRL, the Nevada Section and myself in Eastern Nevada, he 
will also be reporting on the unique needs of the vast eastern county 
area.  This area has needed a stable League presence for a long time and I 
am proud and very, very pleased that Joe has agreed to assume this role.

Over the coming months I will be looking for someone with similar qualities 
for Southern Nevada.
