 From Carol Andrews, daughter of Bob Andrews, W6ITR:

My dad went home to be with the Lord today, 3/5/03, at 12:00 noon.  The 
Clostridium Difficile bacteria won the battle over his internal 
organs.  Dad was prepared for this and, indeed, I believe this was the 
reason he agreed to move down to Phoenix to be nearer to me.

He will be cremated here in Phoenix, as was his wish, and in about a week, 
my daughter and I will make the trip to Carson City with his remains.  We 
will have a memorial service in Carson City for all his friends and ham 
radio family.  His ashes will be placed in a niche next to my Mother's 
there in town.
