The Hawaii-Pacific Division used the IRLP Western Reflector (the server is
in Las Vegas) to link certain VHF and UHF repeaters together for the 2002
SET with great results. Is NV interested in developing that capability.
Contact [email protected] if interested in obtaining IRLP support from NARRI
(Nevada Amateur Radio Repeaters, Inc.)

On pages 102-104 of the July 2003 issue of QST, you will find the results
of the 2002 Simulated Emergency Test (SET).

In terms of overall ARES activity, the Nevada Section came out ahead of
every other section in BOTH the Pacific and Southwestern Divisions!

Congratulations to everyone who participated last year. You produced an
outstanding performance!

This year's SET is scheduled for the weekend of October 4-5, so mark your
calendars and be on the lookout for announcements from your local ARES
Emergency Coordinators.

Again, GREAT WORK!

73, Dick
