I wanted to remind everyone that CVRC's participation in this year's ARRL
Field Day 2003 will be THIS weekend June 28-29! This year's FD experience
ought to prove more organized and prepared than ever before. There are
lots of talented people all willing to pitch in and help whether it's
setting up, operating, being elmers to less experienced operators, lending
generators, beams, antennas, towers, as well as ensuring we're all fed,
watered, and more.
First, I'm pleased to inform that we have a growing and celebrated group of
individuals wanting to help: Sheila KA7AJQ and LeRoy KA7UIS Clement, Dick
KD7JMR and Maren Young, Jerry Fowler KC6QNC, Bob Kirk W7IND, Jim Ralston
K0YUO, Peter Bauer W6DXJ, and the list is still growing!
In addition to our list of willing participants are:
Field Day Site Manager -- Bob Grissom KI7GN
Satellite Mode Manager -- Sharon Grissom KI7GO
HF Mode Manager -- Dale Anderson KV7S
Field Day Co-Leader -- Scott Mercer W7STM
Lastly, I'll also be wearing the hat of Digital Mode Manger, and my
supportive OM Dick W6OLD will be our Field Day Spokesman.
Additional support I want to draw your attention to include:
* Brad Hollander KB7FQR along with his ladder fire truck
* Open BBQ and Potluck Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. (To sign-up select
