It gives me great pleasure this evening to announce that all amateur radio
equipment at SNARS' Ophir Hill site is back in operation. This includes
the 443.075 repeater and the link to Toulon Peak
(Lovelock/147.39). Additionally, we again have battery back-up power that
will keep equipment at the site operational for a limited time in the event
of commercial power failure.

Users may note that the system is currently configured so that 443.075 is
running stand-alone, not connected to the 146.61 or Toulon link. This can
easily be changed remotely should it be deemed necessary to do so.

Many, many thanks to the dedicated hams who selflessly gave up a quiet
Sunday at home to get this important work done:

Jim Newell, K7JN
Steve Lybarger, NU7T
Tony Marcin, KB7PDE
Jim Utterback, KC6TWC

Thanks as well to Jim and Jim for the (ab)use of their vehicles in getting
to the site. Great work to all!
