The National Weather Service has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Carson City in western Nevada
northwestern Douglas County in western Nevada
* until 215 PM PDT
* at 130 PM PDT...weather spotters reported very heavy rain in the
Johnson Lane area...about 7 miles north of Gardnerville. The
thunderstorm producing the heavy rain was moving northwest at 15
mph.
* The thunderstorm with excessive rainfall will be...
over Indian Hills at 150 PM PDT
6 miles southwest of Carson City at 200 PM PDT
3 miles northeast of Spooner Summit at 210 PM PDT
4 miles northeast of Glenbrook at 215 PM PDT
Excessive runoff from this storm will cause flash flooding of small
creeks and streams...highways and underpasses. Additionally...country
roads and Farmlands along the banks of creeks and streams and other
low lying areas are subject to flash flooding.
Do not attempt to cross swiftly flowing waters or waters of unknown
depth by foot or by automobile. If your vehicle stalls...abandon it
immediately and seek higher ground.

relay your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.
