In Loving Memory of

Bobby G. Eason

Bobby G. Eason, 72, passed away in his home in Round Mountain, Nevada on=20
December 31, 2002.  Bob was born Oct. 5, 1930 to Lee Anderson Eason and Ila=
=20
Evans in Groom, Texas.

After serving in the United States Army overseas in Okinawa, 1950 =96 52, He=
=20
owned his own trucking business serving the Southwest.  Then he entered the=
=20
mining industry working for Kennecott, Ray mines division in Arizona for 29=
=20
years.  Then he and his wife Lois moved to Round Mountain where he worked=20
as a truck driver and trainer until his retirement in late 1995.

His favorite pastime was ham radio of which he excelled in for 45=20
years.  Bob was a volunteer in emergency communications and ham radio=20
testing.  The past president of a large ham radio club and net control for=
=20
MARS, (Military Affiliated Radio Service) and also several ham radio nets.=
=20
Bob enjoyed talking to people around the world and made many friends.  He=20
encouraged and helped several to learn ham radio and earn their certificate=
=20
or upgrade.  Bob achieved the highest class license available and was in=20
inspiration to those working on their new and upgrade licenses and Morse=
 code.

He is proceeded in death by a son Bobby Jr.  He is survived by his loving=20
wife, Lois; two daughters, Brenda Luevano of Phoenix, Arizona, Beverly=20
Montez from Reedly, CA.  A step son, Mike Bohrn from Phoenix, a step=20
daughter, Pat Shumaker from Santa Fe, New Mexico, six grandchildren and=20
eight great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home and Chapel, 505=
=20
Rio Vista Drive, Fallon, Nevada on Monday, January 6th with the viewing=20
starting at 10AM. and the Memorial Service at 1PM in the Chapel.  Flowers=20
should be sent to the funeral home or #2 Lois Lane in Senita Courts, Round=
=20
