SATERN Christmas Party

The Christmas Party will be on December 6th at 6:00pm. The location for the
party will be the Sierra Shadows Trailer Park recreational hall at 10700
Stead Blvd. (Directions will be at the end of this notice.)

An invitation is extended to the amateur community and their families to
attend this fun event.

Speakers for the event will be: D Brite KB7JZN for SATERN, Gary Grant K7VY
for Red cross, Don Carlson KQ6FM for ARES, and Dusty Haggard KC7QOF for RAMS.

The meal will be a Pot Luck Supper. Dusty and Glen will be furnishing the
Turkey and Roy and D the ham. RAMS will do coffee and SATERN a punch. The
attendee assignments are as follows:

If your last name begins with:
    A through F.......bring a main dish
    G through L.......bring a salad
    M through R.......bring dessert
    S through Z.......bring soft drinks

There will be a 50/50 raffle. This raffle gives half the proceeds from
ticket sales to the name drawn and half goes to SATERN. There will be  a
raffle of donated items, we now have seven items, these proceeds go to the
Salvation Army.

Everyone attending is asked to bring non-perishable food items or a new
unwrapped toy for the Salvation Army Christmas program.

Everyone is invited to come and Join us for an Enjoyable evening. Merry

Directions to the Rec Hall:
Take the freeway north on 395 approx. 10 miles to the Stead Exit 76, take the
off ramp right onto Stead Blvd. Drive past the schools (on your Right) to the
light at Silver Lake Rd. (McDonald on your left). Stay on Stead Blvd through
the light and Sierra Shadows Trailer Park is now on your right. Come to the
center and only gateway into the park turn right and straight ahead is the
rec hall. There is parking available in the front area and around the corner
on your right side of the rec hall. If this fills up there is parking on
Stead Blvd. Out to the right side of the gateway. The Citifare bus also has a
stop at the corner of Silver Lake and Stead at the beginning corner of the
Park. It is about a block and half walk to the rec hall and the bus runs till
one am.
