Hi Matt,
 
I wanted to contact you to see if your HAM group might have an interest
in providing radio support for an adventure race in Lake Tahoe on
September 13.  The event is called the Tahoe Big Blue Adventure Race and
it is a part of a 4 race series called the Big Blue Adventure Series.
The event consist of about 20+ miles of kayaking, mountain biking, trail
running, high ropes, and orienteering.  Teams of 1, 2, 3, or 4
participate in the event and we are expecting about 250 people in total.

 
We have used HAM support at two of our events this summer and have found
them to be a fantastic addition to our team on race day.  Typically 6-8
HAM's come out and are placed in critical positions on the course
including one at race headquarters and one shadowing the race director.
The main point is of course to have extra eyes on our participants in
case of emergency.
