[CVRC] Pyramid Lake Triathlon Sept. 7th

         Pyramid Lake Triathlon
         Sunday Sept. 7th, 2003
         Start times 9:00 am Tri state, 10:00 am Sprints

    Amateur radio volunteers are needed for communications at Pyramid Lake on
Sunday the 7th of Sept. Those volunteering need to be there at 8:00am to be
at their stations by 8:45am. This year they will not be starting as early as
in past years so we don't have to get up before dawn to be there. All
volunteers will be given a t-shirt and provided with lunch by Big Nose
Sports. Any one interested in working this event please contact:

  Communications will be 2m simplex 146.500. Two areas will need more than an
ht set up.

    This is a good training opportunity for amateur radio. If you have never
done any training this way here is your chance. We will place you with an
experienced operator and you can learn the ropes, just let me know your
status and we will work with you.
