[CVRC] CVRC Meeting and Weather Spotter Training

This Saturday will be the regularly scheduled April meeting of the Carson 
Valley Radio Club.  Starting at 10:00 a.m. the meeting will have an 
emergency communications theme with emphasis on ARRL Field Day which is 
only two months away!

Immediately following the meeting will be a formal Weather Spotter 
(SKYWARN) training session put on by the Reno Office of the National 
Weather Service.  Roger Lamoni, NWS Warning Coordination Manager, will 
teach the two-to-three hour class which will begin at roughly 12:00 Noon.

The regular CVRC meeting is scheduled to last no longer than 11:30 a.m. to 
give attendees time to grab a bite to eat ala "brown bag" or other 
arrangements.  Pastries, coffee and juice will be provided during the 
meeting as usual, but you will need to bring your own lunch if you plan to 
eat anything substantial prior to the SKYWARN training.

The CVRC meeting and NWS training will be held at the Hilltop Church at the 
south end of Carson City.  From the traffic light on Highway 395 across 
from the Home Depot and Target shopping centers, turn east (AWAY from the 
shopping centers) onto North Sunridge Drive and then take the first right 
turn into the church complex.  You can find a map at
