[CVRC] ARRL EmComm Level I Classroom Course

The Carson Valley Radio Club (CVRC) in cooperation with the Douglas County
Amateur Radio Team (DCART) will be presenting a nine-week ARRL Emergency
Communications Level I classroom course.  This course is the same as
available on the ARRL web site and will satisfy the prerequisite for their
Level II course.

The course will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
starting this week, April 17th.  The course will be held at the Sierra
Front Interagency Dispatch Center at the Minden/Tahoe Airport, halfway
between Carson City and Minden.  A map to the Center can be found at

The cost of the course will be $45 which will include ARRL registration,
text book and final Certification Examination fee.  Unlike the on-line
version of this course, the $45 cost is NOT reimbursable under any of the
current Homeland Security grant programs.

Please pre-register for the course so the appropriate number of textbooks
can be ordered.
