Hi Everyone -
Next Saturday is the spring "ham-swap" sponsored by the RAMS club.
As most of you know, I will be moving to Oregon this summer and I have
a LOT of "stuff" that needs to find a new home. We have some equipment
that was donated to NNARS that we aren't going to be using but, is now
available to buy if anyone is interested. Some of these items are:
1. Motorola Mitrek VHF 60w radios for 2-meters w/o accessories. (5)
(have plenty of Mocom-70 accessories that easily adapt for Mitrek
and only four extra sets of channel elements.)
2. Motorola Mocom-70 VHF 40w radio for 2-meters w/all acc's. (7)
(Only 1 set of channel elements available to the first buyer)
3. G.E. Mastr Exec-II "desktop" VHF radios tunable to 2-meters (8)
(The radio removed from the case fits into a 19" rack frame)
4. G.E. Delta (4-channel, 40w) crystal controlled for 2-meters w/o acc's
(5)
(these make excellent full-time packet radios and the mods are easy)
5. Motorola 800MHz mobile radios w/o accessories (6)
6. G.E. Century-II VHF radios 1 to 8 channels, crystal control w/some
accessories. These make neat little packet rigs. (10-12)
7. Motorola "classic" speakers from very good to fair condition. (~35)
(only have about 20 brackets for these and only a few bolts.)
8. G.E. older generation radio cables and some accessories.
9. AEA PK-88 packet TNC's - no manuals, unknown working cond. (3)
10. Desktop computers, 386, 486, and a Pentium, only 1 VGA monitor,
some keyboards and cords along with a mouse or two.
11. Various brands of smaller dot-matrix printers and one wide carriage
Panasonic with stand in excellent condition.
12. Some aluminum and parts for antennas - 3/8" and 1/2" aluminum that
is perfect for home-brew "J-pole" antennas.
13. Various lengths of coaxial cable; RG58, RG8, RG8-mini and RG213.
14. Several boxes of parts, pieces, wires, connectors and widgets.
ALL MUST GO! Some items will have very reasonable prices and others
will be "best offer" on a first-come/first-served basis.
If any of you have a particular interest in any of these items, let me know
ahead of time and I will let you know prices or, make an offer. I will save
them for you at the ham-swap. All purchases go to NNARS operating
funds.
