[CVRC] Level-I EmComm Training and Exam

NNARS will be sponsoring the first Level-I EmComm training course
this fall in the Reno area.  I am planning to hold the classes on
Sunday afternoons, starting on the 6th of October.  This date is not
firm yet but, is the tentative plan.  The exam session will take place
on November 3rd.

The course will run for 5 weeks and last 3-4 hours per session with the
last session being a quick review prior to the exam.  The course is
based on the Level-I material for Basic EmComm from the ARRL.
Total cost for the course is $48.00 per student which is broken down as:

$20.00 ARRL Course Fee
$10.00 Course Book
$ 8.00 Classroom materials
$10.00 Exam fee (payable at the final session)

You may pay the course and classroom material at the time of
registration ($28.00).  You may purchase the course book directly from
ARRL ($10.00).  The exam fee ($10.00) is due and payable at the exam
session.  If you already have the Level-I course book, they you will have
a head start of the class.  Fees are non-refundable.

You do not need to take the classroom instruction to take the exam.
However, you must register to take the exam a minimum of two weeks
prior to it being administered.

to sign up for the class.  I will contact you once a firm date schedule is
set.  You may purchase the Level-I course book yourself if you prefer
prior to the start of the classes.

This class will be limited to 20 students so, if you intend to participate,
