[CVRC] CVRC Meeting Saturday

Don't forget to come to the CVRC meeting this Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

The meeting will be held at the Hilltop Community Church just east of Home 
Depot on the south side of Carson City.

We will have three emergency communications presentations as we enter the 
summer fire season:

Don Root will be driving over from Sacramento to present a program on a 
recent helicopter accident involving amateur radio operators in the Sierra 
Nevada Mountains.

Paul Cavnar will be making a presentation on amateur participation at the 
2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, as well as recent ARES 
reorganizations within the Nevada Section.

Dick Creley will be describing how he brought the Douglas County Amateur 
Radio Team (DCART) from its beginnings to one of the best amateur emergency 
communications units in the region.
