I realize many of you have larger arrays. Sadly after my domestic
realignment I'm back in town from the country and no longer have the real
estate for a large array.
Please forgive the copy and paste from Facebook but Im.sure some of you
aren't on social media. I don't want to miss those opinions.

I've got 3 options for a 10/15/20 antenna. My main interest is 20 meters
and I enjoy 10 when it's open. I don't think I've ever logged a contact on
15 meters
What would you choose and why? All things are equal for support structure.
(35' above average ground) assembly/construction isn't an issue. I enjoy
it. Small lot but large enough to also support the EFHW I have that most
days really booms on 20 with 100 watts. I do have amplifier but not
currently configured to use it. The amplifier will eventually go into
service.
The choices are:
MoselyTA33. Have had a pair of them for decades. Never assembly one. I
hear good things. I also hear that the element spacing is a bit of a
compromise.
Modified hex beam. 4 spreaders 6% larger than a true hex beam and I can add
6mtrs and the WARC bands if I want to. I hear lots of hex beams on the air.
They seem to have a great signal even in the 100-500 watt range.
X beam. A bit larger radius than the modified hex beam. Built and used
several over the years with good succes. Easy construction from the
hardware store. Easy to tune. Traditional X beams are usually monoband but
I thought I could add some traps and make it 10/20.
