Nice job!

I went to bed just before EU sunrise. Meant to sleep a couple  hours but
didn't back it back until 4 hours later.
Will be on for couple hours this afternoon before heading out for the
evening. Band was in good shape last night. Wish I had my beverages
working sure missed them!
781/112, missed MB, NT, SF, SK, SV, WTX.

>> Never has a stronger signal been present on 160m with the call W4PM! Of course the rig, amplifier and antenna belongs to Bob, W4DR, who kindly let me use my call in this contest! All I added was a little 12 hour stint in a chair in front of his outstanding station. Of course Murphy made his appearance. I never could figure out how to get his computer to key his FTDX-5000! I even tried my Winkeyer USB but no luck. So I plugged in my Begali paddle, given to me by FOC a few years back, and sent every CQ, every call and report, every W4PM with that fine paddle and the rig's internal keyer. That to me was really old school contesting - not even a memory keyer! You say the rig may have message memories - HAH try find them in that encyclopedia of an owners manual! Plus no time to look, I had to keep the rig going!

>> Anyhow, operating top band with a full sized 4 square vertical array and max smoke is a hoot! I seldom had to call anyone more than once and my CQ's generated lots of attention. I even had mini-pileups of EU stations calling me at times. That has never happened to me before! Checking N1MM statistics, I even had one hour in which I put 120 stations in the log. That's not a big deal for a hot op and maybe SO2R but for this old man with one radio it was flying (and remember no computer and N1MM to help me send).
