Not a good night for it. August 6 is National Night Out. Our neighborhood celebrates it every year with hot dogs, beans, ice cream floats, games and fishing down at our dam on Forest Lake. The Hanover Sheriff's Dept sends out a few officers and the local fire Dept brings a big fire engine for the kids to see. McGruff the Crime Dog also makes his annual appearance. It's a big deal Judy and I can't miss!
