As the first Tuesday is New Years Day, I going to assume that most would
prefer not to meet that evening.  Let's schedule to meet on Jan 8th, the
second Tuesday at Vinny's at 7 pm.

On tap is to see if there any plans for the ARRL DX contests in Feb and Mar.


 

The ARRL RTTY Roundup is Jan 5 & 6.  Bruce tried his best to get us
interested in this contest.  Now that a number of us now have digital
capabilities, maybe the time is ripe?  The ARRL is allowing FT8 in the
contest for the first time so maybe that will attract some new players.
I've been industriously working to get logging programs, RTTY, FT8 and the
other digital modes working with my new IC-7300.  This radio continues to
amaze me what can be done with just 1 USB cable.  I hope to give it a whirl
in the Roundup.   I saw that MYA turned in a nice score in the previous
Roundup.  Is there any interest in keeping his honor up?
